Seven people were killed in three Israeli attacks on Jenin and Tubas in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian health authorities said on Wednesday, as the Israeli army said it was launching an operation there.
Three Palestinian men were killed in an Israeli drone strike on their vehicle in the village of Seir, south-east of Jenin, Wafa news agency reported. At least two others were killed in Jenin refugee camp and two in the Far’a camp in Tubas.
Video shared by Palestinian media showed Israeli bulldozers destroying roads in Tulkarem and Tubas.
Hundreds of Israeli soldiers entered the Jenin, Nur Shams, and Far’a refugee camps in the occupied West Bank, Israel’s YNet News reported.
Palestinian media reported intense clashes between Israeli troops and Palestinian fighters, with bombs detonated.
The Palestine Red Crescent told Wafa Israeli soldiers prevented the entry of ambulances.
