Calls for Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to resign have continued to grow as the border crisis under Biden has worsened.
Immigration experts say that Biden and Mayorkas are largely to blame for the current immigration crisis âMayorkas has eviscerated our interior immigration enforcement apparatusâmeaning that once an illegal alien enters our country, they become virtually impossible to remove,â said Matthew Tragesser at the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
Mayorkas has continually argued that the border is secure despite unprecedented levels of illegal immigration in both 2021 and 2022 under the Biden administration.
