Lately, there is a popular, yet possibly harmful narrative developing. To hear the elite media tell the story, there is no need for either major party to have a primary. According to them, the primaries are all but over and Trump will be the GOP candidate and Biden will be the DNC candidate. No need for debates or town halls and frankly why even let people vote. In fact, the DNC has declared they will not be having debates, and Joe Biden is their guy even though RFK Jr. has about 20% of the party support. To its credit, the GOP is hosting debates, although many popular political pundits have hung their hats on Trump as the candidate. Founder of Turning Point USA, a popular conservative organization, Charlie Kirk, even tweeted as much this week.
