Iveco LMV Lynx shells and armored vehicles: Belgium is preparing a new package of military assistance for Ukraine

As the Belgian publication Belga reports, citing Belgian Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder, the country’s government is preparing a new tranche of military assistance for Ukraine.

According to Dedonder, as part of this assistance, Kyiv will receive artillery shells and a large number of armored vehicles – 280 Italian-made Iveco LMV Lynx armored vehicles.

Last week, the Belgian government approved three packages of military aid to Ukraine, which will cost the country 412 million euros.

The head of the Belgian Ministry of Defense noted that some of the weapons will be supplied from the country’s army reserves, and others will be purchased jointly with some other EU countries…
