Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker continues to thumb his nose at any attempt to improve conditions in his state — especially in violence-riddled Chicago — and will do anything to kneecap the policies of the duly elected president of the United States, Donald Trump.
The governor freaked out when Trump sent in a relatively small contingent of National Guardsmen to the Windy City in October after a particularly bloody weekend, and now he’s taken it a step further by signing into law HB 1312, a measure designed to make it even harder for United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to do its job.
