Jim Jordan: Obama Must Be ‘Pursued to the Fullest Extent’ Over Plot to Take Out Trump

Republican Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is demanding a thorough investigation into what he calls a “years-long coup” against President Donald Trump.

The call from Jordan comes after newly declassified documents from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard shed light on the actions of the Obama administration in the aftermath of the 2016 presidential election.

Appearing on “The First” with host Jesse Kelly, Jordan, who chairs the House Judiciary Committee, emphasized the importance of pursuing the probe to its fullest extent.

The documents Gabbard released last week revealed the deep involvement of top Obama administration officials in orchestrating the false narrative that Trump colluded with Russia during the 2016 campaign, a claim that was later debunked.

“This is something that has to be pursued,” Jordan told Kelly, pointing out that the plot was set in motion between Election Day and Inauguration Day.

He described a key meeting on December 9, 2016, in the Oval Office, where President Obama and other high-ranking officials, including James Comey, James Clapper, John Brennan, Andrew McCabe, and Loretta Lynch, discussed how to proceed with their plan to undermine Trump’s presidency.
