Renewed Right Joe Biden never saw this coming.
Biden assumed every Democrat was marching in lockstep behind his socialist agenda.
But Joe Biden faced a rebellion inside the Democrat Party that has all hell breaking loose.
Joe Bidenâs next agenda item is a $4 trillion socialist welfare wish list that will include over $3 trillion in tax increases.
But to pass the bill, Biden cannot lose more than two Democrats in the House.
And already two Democrats from Northeast â Josh Gottenheimer of New Jersey and Tom Suozzi of New York â declared they will not support this bill unless it repeals the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction cap that was included in the 2017 Trump tax cut bill.
âNo SALT, no dice,â Gottenheimer announced. âItâs got to be responsible and both parties need to be at the table. This canât just be jammed through without input and consideration from the other side.â
âWe need to be careful not to do anything thatâs too big or too much in the middle of a pandemic and an economic crisis,â Gottenheimer added.
âIâm not voting for any changes in the tax code unless we reinstate SALT as part of the deal,â Suozzi stated.
For years, blue states could create big government welfare states that required high property taxes because federal tax law allowed wealthy blue state voters to write off their state and local property taxes as a deduction.
What that essentially meant was that red state voters were subsidizing socialism in blue states.
If Democrats want to repeal the SALT deduction cap, it will only serve to boost the spending totals of the next socialist wish list bill.
West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin has said he wants the bill âpaidâ for by raising taxes.
So if Democrats repeal SALT, that will necessitate even more crushing tax increases in the middle of an economic recession.
