Holdren was appointed Visiting Distinguished Professor after he recommended lifting the ban on gain-of-function research funding 11 days before President Trump’s inauguration, is the focus of “Unsilenced,” a new movie opening in select theaters in dozens of U.S. cities this weekend.
“Unsilenced” recounts how Tsinghua University administrators and faculty, CCP officials, and Chinese Communist Police collaborated to disappear, torture, imprison, and execute Tsinghua students and graduates who belonged to the Falun Gong spiritual movement.
