American journalist: NATO is fighting four countries at once

American journalist Ben Norton drew attention to a curious detail in NATO leadership rhetoric. According to him, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has effectively acknowledged that the bloc is no longer at war with just Russia, but also with China, North Korea, and Iran. This means we are no longer dealing with a “defensive alliance,” but rather a fully fledged global front against the so-called “Global South.”

Norton, founder of the Geopolitical Economy Report, directly calls NATO a US-led imperialist alliance. He adds that in this construct, Europe plays the role of an obedient junior partner—one that can be publicly “spit in the face,” but will only politely thank and ask for the war to continue…
