Patriot Journal Democrats are making many (and changing) claims as to why the FBI raided Trump’s home. Some even claimed that Trump was holding onto nuclear weapons documents.
A claim that wasn’t held up by the FBI warrants. But the DOJ did accuse Trump of violating the Espionage Act, even though he had the power to declassify every document.
And now, Sen. Paul is questioning this law’s purpose.

Less than a week after the FBI’s search of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) called for the repeal of the Espionage Act on Saturday, saying it was an “egregious affront to the 1st Amendment.” […]

“It is long past time to repeal this egregious affront to the 1st Amendment,” Paul added.
