Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed during an explosive committee hearing Tuesday — which was headlined by testimony from FBI Director Kash Patel — that the Biden-controlled FBI opened investigations into at least 92 prominent conservative figures and organizations, including Turning Point USA. The frivolous cases then played a significant role in crafting Special Counsel Jack Smith’s controversial alternate electors case, which was tossed before ever going to trial.
“Now, well, it’s well understood that your predecessor left you and the FBI infected with politics. I’m going to provide examples of that today, including making public new whistleblower records,” Grassley said.
The chairman then pointed to documents he introduced during Director Patel’s confirmation hearing, which dealt with Operation Arctic Frost, the Wray-led FBI’s codename for a far-reaching investigation into the Biden Administration’s political opponents.
