Former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund told Tucker Carlson that the FBI, DHS and other federal law enforcement agencies withheld key intelligence that suggested trouble on January 6, 2021. Sund described the events leading up to the incident as highly unusual and suggested that a cover-up was afoot.
Tucker Carlson previously interviewed Sund this past April, though he was ultimately fired by Fox News before the interview could air. Previously unreleased clips from the Fox interview were released by the National Pulse earlier this month.
In the latest interview, Sund described the general build-up to large protests in the nation’s capital. He told Carlson that he held multiple meetings with federal law enforcement agencies, the head of the national guard, the head of the D.C. Metropolitan Police and several other authority figures in the weeks leading up to the protest, but was never informed of any intelligence suggesting a storming of the Capitol building…
