I was privileged to listen to John Eastman speak twice and lay out his case at David Horowitz Freedom Center events, including at the Restoration Weekend in New Orleans and at an event in Los Angeles. Both times, Eastman spoke compellingly about what he had gone through in the lawfare campaign to destroy him for representing Trump.
That includes the California barâs effort to disbar him. An effort that has at least temporarily succeeded.
A California judge on Wednesday recommended disbarring a lawyer at the center of former President Trumpâs efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
State Bar Judge Yvette Roland found John Eastman culpable on 10 of the 11 counts filed by the California State Bar last year. The state bar sought to strip Eastmanâs license to practice law in the state over âfalse and misleading statementsâ about purported election fraud and his role in âprovokingâ the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
