Democrat nominee Kamala Harris finally took a few questions from the media nearly three weeks after she was tabbed as Joe Biden’s replacement at the top of the party’s ticket.
The vice president has been kept under wraps by her handlers but with criticism from Republicans growing by the day, the Wonder Woman of American politics briefly chatted with reporters after a campaign event in Michigan.
Speaking from the tarmac at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Harris responded to remarks by her opponent GOP nominee Donald J. Trump that he had agreed to three debates in September.

“Well, I’m glad that he’s finally agreed to a debate on Sept. 10,” Harris said, suggesting that she might agree to additional debates in the future although seeming to reject Trump’s challenge to the traditional three between candidates in a presidential election year.
“I’ve talked to my team. I want us to get an interview scheduled before the end of the month,” Harris said in response to a question about why she hasn’t held a press conference or sat down for an in-depth interview since she was handed her party’s nomination…
