A Texas sheriff appeared on ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’ to criticize the Biden administration
Kamala Harris and the Biden administration faced renewed criticism over the weekend over the ongoing border crisis and what critics see as officials being more concerned about their own political survival than the issues on the ground.
Harris has been criticized by Republicans for going 47 days without facing questions on the migrant surge or touring the area. Her critics call her politically shrewd, with the understanding that if the crisis worsens, her name will be tied to it, and her hopes to someday be the president would be significantly diminished.

The Texas sheriff added the situation is “preventable” if the president or vice president would visit the border and “see for themselves.”
He continued, “Do we talk about the level of fear here in Texas and across the United States as an open border policy expands here? Do we talk about the cartel expansion and the strength and the power that they now exhibit here in the United States?”
On Friday, Harris held an online meeting with Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador as she prepared to travel to Mexico and Guatemala on June 7-8 to discuss the “root causes” of migration with leaders of the two countries.
