A news conference held by the family of Karmelo Anthony, a Texas teenager accused of fatally stabbing a classmate, descended into chaos Thursday when the victim’s father was removed from the event and the family spokesman launched accusations of racism and bigotry.
Anthony, 17, faces first-degree murder charges for allegedly stabbing Austin Metcalf to death during a dispute at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas, on April 2.
He was released from the Collin County Jail after his bond was reduced from $1 million to $250,000, Resist the Mainstream previously reported.
