Perhaps that is what motivated progressive Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-Ny.) to attack Elon Musk on Friday when she accused him of being responsible for an ‘explosion in hate crimes.’
The Tweet accuses Musk of being courted by Tucker Carlson and Peter Thiel and having an ‘ego problem.’
Musk responded by accusing her of flirting with him. She said that she was referring to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a reply that she deleted a minute later.
AOC and other left-wingers may be losing followers because of a mass exodus of liberal users after Musk’s purchase of the social media giant.
