The Epoch Times A 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck Idaho on Tuesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake struck just before 5 p.m., the USGS reported, with its epicenter 73 miles northeast of Meridian, Idahoâwest of Challis. Its depth was reportedly 6.2 miles.
According to the site, thousands of people across several states reported shaking.

A health unit coordinator from a hospital emergency room on the front line of Idahoâs CCP virus outbreak in Blaine Countyâsome 65 miles south of the epicenterâsaid he felt the quake, but that it didnât interfere with the treatment of any patients.
âIt felt like a wave going through the ground, so I knew right away what it was. It just felt like waves going through the ground,â Marcus Smith said, adding that the tremor added stress during an already stressful time for the region.
âUntil the next one, I guess,â he said. âI mean, thatâs what we do. Weâre all good.â
A Stanley restaurant owner described the earthquake as a âroarâ and said he heard the quake before he felt it.
âI heard the roar, and at first, it sounded like the wind, but then the roar was tremendous,â Brett Woolley said shortly after the quake struck. âThe whole house was rattling, and I started to panic. Iâm sitting here perfectly still, and the water next to me is still vibrating.â
âBoise, yes, you did feel an earthquake,â Boise Mayor Lauren McLean wrote on Twitter shortly after the quake.
Several social media users posted videos online that appeared to show household items shaking as the earthquake rattled the region.
It was reportedly felt as far as Spokane and regions in western Montana, including Corvallis, Hamilton, and Missoula, KPAX reported.

The USGS reported a 4.8 magnitude aftershock.
The 6.5 magnitude quake struck less than two weeks after a sizeable 5.7 magnitude earthquake rattled a region outside Salt Lake City, causing damage to buildings and sparking evacuations.
No damage has been reported in Boise from the quake, and according to KTVB, there was a delay in reporting from USGS due to social distancing measures implemented because of the CCP (Chinese Community Party) virus, commonly known as the novel coronavirus.
Could it be the result of the Yellowstone Super Volcano waking up?
Another 5-6 mile deep epicenter? Hmmm? It seems like all the recent earthquakes could be the US Military nuking tunnel infrastructure in order to incapacitate any effective use of the clandestine tunnel system in the USA. Yep, I think it is a possibility White Hats are blowing tunnels which serves 3 purposes. 1. Catch the bad actors, 2. Eliminates access/egress of combatants/ or hideouts for the few, and, 3. No loss of life for the Special Forces as the explosion is probably pretty effective.
Also, witnesses to the quake said they heard the quake then felt it.
