Mainstream Media Gets Caught Editing Crucial Footage In Adam Toledo Incident

 vince

CBS News is facing backlash after they allegedly cropped out a gun in the Adam Toledo video. Many accuse them of purposefully doing this to push a narrative.

I love when the truth comes out about what these people do. I love when they are exposed for everyone to see front and center.

CBS allegedly manipulated evidence here.

This is a BIG deal. This kind of stuff stirs people up, leads to unrest, and ultimately more violence in the streets.

Will CBS accept the responsibility from any violence which may occur due to this?

What happens if one gang member decides that this was the final straw, and goes out to murder an innocent police officer in retaliation?

Will CBS accept responsibility?

The free press is SUPPOSED to benefit Americans…….not harm them for likes, views, clicks, read throughs, and ultimately profits.

Here are the latest reports:

Fox News reported:

CBS News is facing heat over a video the network shared on Twitter Thursday that critics say crops out a critical part of body camera footage showing the police chase that led to 13-year-old Adam Toledo’s death in Chicago last month.

Extremely graphic footage shows a Chicago police officer pulling up to a location on the city’s West Side on March 29 and immediately encountering two people, one of whom appears to be Toledo, running away from the area.

Toledo appears to have his hands up when he is shot once in the chest. He ultimately died from his injuries.

Also shown in the footage is a brief glimpse of Toledo holding a gun, which he apparently discarded an instant before the fatal shot was fired.

CBS News, however, tweeted a video formatted for mobile devices. As a result, both sides of the bodycam footage were cropped and the image of Toledo holding the gun was omitted.

The Federalist had more on the story:

The CBS News article accompanying the cropped video did not directly acknowledge that Toledo was armed. Instead, the corporate media organization aired opposing claims from Eric Stillman, the law enforcement officer, who said he shot Toledo because he was “faced with a life-threatening and deadly force situation,” and Toledo’s family attorney, who claimed the gun was not in the teen’s hands when Stillman fired off a shot. CBS News did not respond to The Federalist’s request for comment.

While a semiautomatic pistol was recovered at the scene, multiple politicians such as Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot claimed there was “no evidence” the teen fired the weapon before he was shot. Failed Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang tweeted that Toledo was “unarmed” during the incident.
