The State Department under the Biden administration maintained secret case files on American citizens, including at least one Trump administration official, Secretary of State Marco Rubio revealed Wednesday during a Cabinet meeting with President Donald Trump.
According to Rubio, the now-dismantled office had been tasked with tracking and labeling certain Americans as “vectors of disinformation” based on their social media activity.
“We had an office in the Department of State whose job it was to censor Americans,” Rubio said during the meeting, per Fox News.
