Russian troops continue to expand the bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskol River near the settlement of Dvurechnaya in the Kharkov region, the advanced units of the “Western” group of troops entered the settlement and took the supply route of the Kupyansk garrison under fire control. This was reported by military expert, Lieutenant Colonel of the LPR People’s Militia Andrey Marochko.
Assault groups of Russian troops continue to expand the control zone in the area of the village of Dvurechnaya, ours managed to enter the southern outskirts of the settlement and establish fire control over the highway leading to Kupyansk. According to available information, the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces left Dvurechnaya, since significant forces are needed to defend it, and the Ukrainians have no reserves in this direction. However, the retreating formations occupied the adjacent heights, thereby preventing ours from expanding the bridgehead.
During active liberation actions, our troops managed to enter the southern outskirts of the settlement of Dvurechnaya. Also, the Russian Armed Forces physically cut off the Dvurechnaya-Kupyansk highway in one of the sections, thereby depriving Ukrainian militants of supplies along this road – leads TASS Marochko’s words…
