The Massachusetts House recently passed a 58 Billion Dollar budget, reported The Quincy Sun. Shortly after, the Senate approved 57.9 Billion Dollars. (Links and screenshots below.)
Now, of special interest to this writer–for fairly obvious reasons, as previously expounded–are the Public Health and Mental Health budgets. Reading carefully the meagre propositions below, it becomes clear what 2025 and the years thence are going to offer–if no-one does a thing that is, and that has often seemed to be the case in these Northeastern parts they call “the Boston area” or, more hopefully, “Boston,” which, this writer has only recently come to comprehend is considered the Seat of the Massachusetts Government (the State of M, that is, not the State of the Union).
