Memphis police officers are searching for two men who uploaded a video in which they threatened to target and kill white people. “White folks fixin’ to not like black people,” one of the men can be heard saying. “They’re fixin’ to be marching by the riverside, ‘White Lives Matter,’ he adds. “He already shot an old white man. I’m fixin’ to shoot a white old lady.”
The disturbing video was posted just a day after 19-year-old Ezekiel Kelly was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after killing four people and wounding several others in a random murder spree across Memphis. A portion of the rampage was streamed via Facebook Live.
The two black males who vowed to kill white people referenced Kelly’s rampage, which was seemingly ongoing as of the video’s recording. “He already shot an old white man. I’m fixin’ to shoot a white old lady while her grandkids in the car.” one of them said.
