Micah Drye, 7 Year Old Boy, Calls On Jesus as the Floodwaters Sweep Him From His Mother’s Arms

It has been a rough week for millions of people in the destructive path of Hurricane Helene.  But even in the midst of tragedy, God never fails to leave Himself a witness to His glory.

Let me introduce you to Micah Drye.  Micah was looking forward to being a superhero for Halloween this year.  But at seven years old, he was caught with his mother and grandparents as the floodwaters rose around their home in Asheville, North Carolina.

Micah, along with his grandparents, would not survive, and would later drown in the floodwaters after their house broke apart from under them.  But it is how Micah handled that moment, and his faith, that I feel compelled to share with you.
