Microsoft outage: Heathrow, Asda and Xbox sites crashed before fix reached

Millions of people have been left without access to the internet and are facing issues with major websites – including Natwest and Minecraft – amid another major cloud server outage

Two major cloud service providers were hit with simultaneous outages, sparking huge outages for users last night.

Both Amazon’s AWS and Microsoft’s Azure experienced disruptions on Wednesday evening, appearing to impact people using several key websites and apps. These included Microsoft 365, Outlook, Starbucks and Asda.

Gamers have also been impacted with outages reported with Xbox and Minecraft
