Border Hawk An immigration detainer has been filed against a man charged with raping a girl under 13 who gave birth to a child that may be his in Louisiana, according to reports.
On Saturday, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) announced the arrest of 39-year-old Jose Lopez Montoya.
CPSO says they were alerted about a girl under the age of 13 who had just given birth at a local hospital.
“During the initial investigation, detectives spoke with the victim who stated Jose L. Montoya, 39, Lake Charles, had sexual intercourse with her numerous times over the past two years,” CPSO explained in a press release.
“When detectives spoke with Montoya he confirmed the allegations. He also advised detectives the newborn is likely his child.”
