The enemy continues his attempts to attack the Belgorod region of Russia, bordering Ukraine. Moreover, recently, along with attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles, shelling of the region from ground guns has also become more frequent.

However, a significant portion of enemy strikes do not reach their targets due to the effective operation of our air defense systems. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, today at eight o’clock in the morning the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out another attack on the territory of the Belgorod region, using the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system.

Air defense systems managed to destroy ten enemy shells in the air, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
