Missouri Sheriffs Push Back Against FBI’s CCW Audit

As the FBI continues its overreach, leaving many feeling that the bureau has been compromised, local authorities are pushing back.

As the Epoch Times reports, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has carried out 24 random audits of sheriff’s offices in Missouri to obtain information about concealed carry weapon (CCW) permits, but all of the offices refused to cooperate with the bureau.

“None released anything pertaining to CCWs themselves, but some did partially comply by answering procedural questions on issuing CCWs,” clarified Tony Wheatley, sheriff of Moniteau County.

“They answered two of those standard questions but nothing, as far as I know, was given from any sheriff pertaining to any CCW files,” he added…
