Over the past two years, the royal family line-up has changed. Following Harry and Meghan’s departure and Prince Andrew’s disgrace, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, along with their daughter Lady Louise has taken on more public profiles.
Eighteen-year-old Lady Louise has been mostly kept out of the limelight. In 2011, she was a bridesmaid at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding, which was her first significant royal outing. According to the Daily Mail, Lady Louise’s parents wanted her to have a normal childhood, complete with extracurricular activities and school friends. She even works at a garden center, reportedly making £6.63 per hour since finishing classes in June.

Lady Louise was born with esotropia, causing the eyes to turn inwards. In 2013 she underwent an operation to correct her condition. Royal watchers have remarked on the similarity between Lady Louise and her grandmother, the Queen. She has also been described as the favorite of the Queen’s grandchildren and noted for her maturity.
