Nashville School Shooter Manifesto to be Made Public Following FBI Analysis

By Amber Crawford

It has been announced that the manifesto left behind by Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale will be released to the public after the FBI is through analyzing it.

28-year-old Hale was shot and killed by police after she shot her way into a Christian elementary school and killed three nine-year-old students and three faculty members.

Hale left behind a manifesto that was recovered by police, who then handed it over to the FBI, raising the concern that the manifesto would be buried and never released to the public.

LGBTQ groups are also advocating against the release of the manifesto, even after the conclusion of the investigation, so the public doesn’t realize how their rhetoric is radicalizing people.

The executive director of Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere (COLAGE), Jordan Budd, said that the manifesto “should not be published” so that the public’s focus stays on the issue of gun control instead of the mental illness that prompted Hale to conduct the shooting in the first place.
