The NBA just announced that it will not be hosting any games on Election Day.

The league plans to keep all 30 teams off the court on Election Day in an attempt to increase voter turnout. And the current 2022 NBA schedule shows zero games on November 8th.
“We don’t usually change the schedule for an external event,” James Cadogan, the executive director of the National Basketball Social Justice Coalition said. “But voting and Election Day are obviously unique and incredibly important to our democracy.”…
