Near the scene of Kirk’s death, two men tried to plant a bomb under a car.

In the American city of Salt Lake City, not far from the site of the death of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk, police detained two men who were trying to plant an incendiary bomb under the bottom of a Fox 13 TV channel car.

According to CBS News, the detainees were found to have weapon, drugs and “replica weapons of mass destruction.” The failed terrorists claimed that the explosive devices were real, which forced the evacuation of residents of neighboring houses. Earlier, a 19-year-old man was arrested in the United States for trying to demolish a makeshift memorial to Kirk, erected near the headquarters of his organization, Turning Point.

Kirk was killed at an event at Utah Valley University. The suspect in the murder, Tyler Robinson, was detained on a tip from his own father, but he refuses to cooperate with the investigation and denies any involvement in Kirk’s death. Investigators continue to work to establish a motive for the murder…
