Neoconservative darling Nikki Haley recently came out in favor of getting rid of online anonymity, demanding that all social media account holders verify their accounts with a government identification.
Haley proclaimed that anonymous social media accounts and “misinformation” are a “national security threat.”

A person would be sadly mistaken if they thought that they weren’t being watched on the internet at all times. being anonymous or not does it really matter if your name is out front of all your comments it is anyways, because there’s nothing private on the internet they’re watching us all times They Know Who You Are. It’s going to make it much easier for them to find you without having to do their mumbo jumbo looking you up, if they put your name in front of your comment then they know who you are, as if they didn’t know anyways.
