Just The News The state of Nevada will divest any holdings it has in weapons companies that manufacture what the state’s CFO calls “assault-style weapons,” a move that comes after another high-profile mass shooting involving an AR-style rifle.
State Treasurer Zach Conine posted on Twitter on Friday that he had “directed our team to divest the State of Nevada from any investment in a business that profits from the sale or manufacture of assault-style weapons.”
