During the early hours of the morning when the House of Representatives was debating over amendments to the “Big, Beautiful Bill,” a congressman was caught on camera grabbing a handful of a colleague’s backside. The bizarre incident occurred after an amendment vote failed.
The camera feed over the lower chamber of Congress shows two individuals, Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) and another Republican, speaking to each other. While they were having a conversation, a third person, identified as Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN), walked onto the floor and took a grab at the posterior region of the mystery congressman, who was only captured from the back.
Burchett then turns, laughs, and waves to his “victim,” who was jolted by what happened. As of this writing, the incident has not been addressed by any member of Congress.
