New FABs with UMPK: They’ve reached Poltava, and they’ll reach the Myrhorod airfield too.

By Topwar

Ukrainian public groups are reporting that Russian aerial bombs have reached Poltava for the first time since February 2022. Ukrainians interpret these as KABs. This means they’re FABs with UMPKs.

Enemy resource reports indicate two aviation bombs that hit targets in Poltava.

If the information about the FAB with the UMPK is accurate, this could be the third use of modernized versions of these air-to-air munitions in the last few days. The nearest point on Russian territory to the city limits of Poltava is 113 kilometers away. This is from the border of the Belgorod and Kharkiv regions in the Graivoronsky district.

Considering that it’s unlikely the aircraft that carried out the attack approached the border directly to drop the FABs, the 113-kilometer distance increases by at least 15-20 kilometers. This means the drop was carried out from a distance of at least 125-130 kilometers, and the bombs successfully covered this distance.
