Footage has been published online showing attacks carried out by the Israeli army on Palestinian settlements in the Gaza Strip.
The footage shows powerful explosions in the middle of dense urban areas. The Israeli Army Command (IDF) says it has attacked aviation and artillery strikes on more than 500 strategic targets in the Gaza Strip.
Seven Hamas operational headquarters were allegedly destroyed. In addition, the Israeli army attacked multi-storey buildings, one of which housed the Hamas military headquarters, and a mosque, which, according to Israeli intelligence, was used for its own purposes by the Palestinian movement.
