New Jersey high school forced to cancel full day of classes after over-the-top senior prank: ‘Went too far’

They’ve got no class.

An over-the-top senior prank left a New Jersey high school in shambles, forcing officials to call off all classes for the day because the hijinks went “too far,” according to a report.

Pranksters at South River High School trashed classrooms and common areas on the Middlesex County campus by rearranging furniture, emptying the basketball gym of its equipment, covering hallways with toilet paper, and generally turning the school upside down, WABC reported.

“Nothing was broken. Nothing was stolen. But tables were moved, desks were moved out of classrooms, equipment was moved out of the gym,” South River Mayor Peter Guindi told the outlet.

“Listen, we were all kids at one time, I mean, we have all done our share of mischief. This kind of went too far,” Hizzoner added…
