House Republicans are set to receive an update on the Trump administration’s investigation into billionaire George Soros’ influence over local radio stations. The Republican Study Committee has scheduled a closed-door meeting on Wednesday with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr to discuss the matter.

A person familiar with the plans said to Fox News that Carr is expected to update Republican lawmakers on the commission’s investigation into George Soros, including a firm tied to the billionaire that recently acquired more than 200 Audacy radio stations nationwide.
The FCC Chairman has voiced significant concerns over the radio station’s actions, stating it’s “really concerning” that a station funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros aired live locations of undercover Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
