A new poll shows that a majority of Americans now favor mask and vaccine mandates in schools, the workplace, and other public places – including what some may view as a surprisingly high percentage of Republicans.
In addition to dividing up the poll among Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, the poll also showed some regional differences, with those in the Midwest being the most critical of government imposed mandates.
A Morning Consult/Politico Poll taken last week shows similar results.
Axios-Ipsos poll: 44 percent of *Republicans* support mandatory mask mandates in schools.
