The tactical sign found on the captured T-80U tank consists of three upward-pointing arrows surrounded by a white square. The new sign was used to mark at least T-72AV and MT-LB from the above-mentioned brigade. The vehicles with the new tactical sign attempted to break through the Russian defenses west of Chasov Yar, but were blown up by minefields, after which they were finally destroyed by Russian FPV-drones.
Based on the fact that such a tactical sign, unlike simple geometric figures, is quite difficult to apply in field conditions, as a rule, it is applied using a stencil. Also, according to some information, the new sign is applied to equipment that the enemy managed to take out of the Kursk region.
