New York has declared another health emergency after the monkeypox fears seem to have died down a bit temporarily.

Governor Kathy Hochul declared the state of emergency today after another county reportedly detected shreds of the virus circulating in wastewater. New York City, Nassau, Rockland, Orange, and Sullivan Counties have reported cases of polio thus far.

On polio, we simply cannot roll the dice. If you or your child are unvaccinated or not up to date with vaccinations, the risk of paralytic disease is real
