With more than 700,000 reported Covid-19 deaths in the United States, it is now evident that lockdown strategies failed to protect older high-risk Americans. Naively believing that shutting down society would protect everyone, government officials failed to implement focused protection measures for those at the highest risk.

While anyone can get infected, there is more than a thousand-fold difference in the risk of death between the old and the young. The failure to exploit this fact about the virus led to the most significant public health fiasco in history.

    With Cuomo and other sinister Demokkrats forcing Covid patients into nursing homes, you have to expect a higher casualty rate among elders. Alternatives, like Trumps hospital ship, were available but either Cuomo and cohorts are either all stupid or were intentionally trying to spread Covid and kill off the elderly. Don’t discount the possibility of stupidity. Note the way NY and NYNY are being run into the ground by a litany of bogus decisions and acts. The call to “ride the subways” and “come to chinatown” certainly helped to run up the case count, at least in NY.
