No Tsunami Expected After Massive Big Island Earthquake

UPDATE: The USGS has updated the severity of the earthquake, measuring it as an M-6.2. NWS initially reported the quake as an M-6.1.

There is no threat of a tsunami after a magnitude-6.2 earthquake struck off the coast of Ka´ū late Sunday morning.
