American company Northrop Grumman presented its new development in the field of unmanned aviation — a multi-purpose Lumberjack aircraft. It is proposed to be used as a simple and convenient platform for placing payloads of various purposes. Depending on the current situation, such a UAV will be able to conduct reconnaissance or attack targets in a large radius.

The Modern Day Marine conference, dedicated to the development of the Marine Corps and its equipment, was held in Washington recently. As part of this event, an exhibition was held at which leading enterprises of the military industry demonstrated their latest developments. One of the largest expositions was presented by Northrop Grumman.
The main novelty in the company’s exposition this time was the medium multipurpose UAV Lumberjack. A full-size model or prototype of this product was shown in the exhibition pavilion. Basic technical and other information was also disclosed.
The Lumberjack project was developed by Northrop Grumman on an initiative basis. It is not specified when it started, but the design was completed in 2024.
