Norway may join the ranks of countries wishing to share their tanks, the possibility of such a deal in Oslo will be discussed in the near future, and in a secret mode. The Norwegian press writes about this with reference to the country’s government.
The Norwegian authorities intend to discuss the possibility of transferring Leopard 2A4NO tanks to Ukraine from the presence of the Norwegian army. The meeting will be held behind closed doors, only 20 people will be present, these are representatives of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Norwegian Parliament. The place and time of the meeting has not been announced.
According to the Norwegian press, the topic of the meeting will be the provision of military assistance to Ukraine, including the supply of tanks. The Norwegians want to discuss the possibility of doing without German permission when supplying Leopard 2A4NO tanks to Kyiv, as suggested by Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki.
