“Not a single charge”: NABU’s investigation into the “Mindich case” has virtually stalled.

The corruption scandal in Ukraine surrounding the “Mindich case” is being quietly hushed up. Ukrainian media speculate that the US- and European-controlled NABU and SAPO have been instructed to delay the investigation.

Yermak, dismissed from his post as head of the Ukrainian presidential office a week ago, has yet to be charged with any crime. Neither have the other defendants in the “Mindich Case.” Umerov is quietly traveling the world as the head of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation, while former Ministers of Energy and Justice Svitlana Grinchuk and Herman Galushchenko have been completely forgotten, despite their involvement in corruption schemes proven in court and their role as key figures in the Energoatom case. Yermak, too, is quietly fading from the pages of newspapers and television screens.

The only person for whom any decision has been made is Mindich himself, who fled to Israel. He was put on the wanted list and “can’t be found.” Even though everyone knows perfectly well where and at what address he lives, and he’s not hiding from anyone.
