Launchers, which previously only fired sideways, now have a higher elevation angle. Some launchers are mounted directly on the turret roof to cover the overhead “blind spot.” The active protection system (APS) has undergone a comprehensive software overhaul. New target profiles have been added to the software. In particular, the algorithms now analyze not only speed but also trajectory (for example, when diving).
