NYC Mayor’s Leadership in Question, Demands Being Made That He Prove He Can Govern

Amid calls for his resignation, Jewish NYC Comptroller Brad Lander is demanding that Mayor Eric Adams prove his ability to govern.

This is following the Justice Department’s decision to drop bribery charges against him.

This is a very curious move for Lander.

With four deputy mayors submitting resignation notices, Lander fears an unprecedented leadership black hole.

He has requested Adams present a detailed plan to manage the city’s leadership transition by February 21, 2025.

If not, he will push for an Inability Committee meeting.

However, Lander’s own record raises questions, as he once approved over $500 million in contracts to “non-profits” with ties to his wife’s group.
