Pennsylvania Election Official Warns About Delays in Counting Votes

Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State is now warning that the 2022 midterm elections set to take place on November 8, 2022 could be delayed.

This announcement came after 240,000 unverified ballots were mailed out to voters. Secretary of State Leigh Chapman announced that revealed that there will likely be delays in the publication of the results following the midterm elections.

“It’s really important for us to get accurate information about the election process in Pennsylvania,” Chapman stated in a virtual conference where she observed that it would likely take “several days” to count and realize the certification of the votes.

“So voters and the public know that when there are delays in counting, it doesn’t mean that there’s anything nefarious happening. It’s just what the law is in Pennsylvania,” Chapman added…
